Our kindergarten mission at The Learning Express is to provide an academically challenging and individualized education to each of our students, to foster an atmosphere of respect and kindness, and to guide each child to develop strong character traits as they reach their fullest potential.  We offer students and their families a personal educational experience. 

Our kindergarten curriculum is designed to be challenging, yet structured to accommodate the unique individual needs of each student.

A strong Reading and Mathematics program provides the foundation of a quality kindergarten program; therefore we place emphasis on both of these subject areas. The core of our curriculum focuses on a phonics-based reading program, structured to accommodate each child’s individual reading level.  One-on-one attention from teachers, as well as small group activities, offer children the opportunity to progress through the reading series based on their individual reading level and to develop a love for reading.  

Students are challenged in Mathematics, not only through traditional teaching methods, but also using creative learning centers and manipulatives.  Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Specials classes complete our exceptional curriculum, designed to provide students with a well-rounded, strong foundation for their first elementary school experience.
